Basically, I will make a journal, and anyone that wants to join needs to say so within a comment.
What happens is this:-
Once I have closed any more entries, all users taking part will be randomly matched with another user. Then those two have to make a gift art for the one they were paired up with :3
I will be setting up a set of rules on the journal once it happens [if it does] so that if someone doesn't make the gift for the other person when that other person did make them one, then the user will be banned from all my contests etc, because I can see people trying to get free art out of this.

No, not request-like It requires the artist visiting the other users gallery and deciding for theirselves what to draw for the other person.
Requests would be unfair as some people cannot draw what is requested of them.
